Eusebia Mamani lives with her family in the Mendez Arcos barrio of Tarija, Bolivia. The family of three share two rooms. Eusebia found out about Fundación Pro-Hábitat through a neighbourhood meeting, and later took out a US$400 loan to plaster the exterior and interior of the house. The house is made of adobe, in which the vinchuca beetle, the carrier of Chagas disease, thrives.
