Transferring from one residence to another can be difficult for students, especially if it happens too often. Frequent moving in and out of homes (especially if they are miles apart) means transferring to new schools, new environment, and adjusting to new sets of peers. I was not aware until now that there are programs like these that seek (among others) to aid concerned students by way of facilitating enrollment. These kids are fortunate to be part of this program. I hope they realize that.

Homelessness is a condition that sometimes families would not admit. This will pose difficulty in collecting vital information like population, gender, age, etc. of homeless students. This in turn will delay studies and eventually timely service due to lack of close-to-reality statistics. This is a challenge though for advocates of the EHCY program.
