Working with universities forms part of our advocacy work. We want to make sure that the architects, planners and other professionals who will be working in urban development in the future have information about the kind of work that we and our partners do. We want to make sure that they have a chance to explore and discuss the principles that lie behind it and to appreciate the massive expertise that exists within communities with few physical assets. Working with universities also helps us to clarify the way we present things and sometimes we are really kept on our toes by the questions asked and the issues raised.
