Although the growth and spread of homelessness in America is beginning to receive sustained public attention, few professional contributions acknowledge-much less deal with-gender differences. This analysis of an array of current literature explores dimensions of homelessness among women as an exceedingly complex sociological phenomenon with devastating effects.
