In an effort to continuously evaluate the efficacy of programming within this organization, Central City Concern (CCC) will often request independent evaluations. The findings of this evaluation are very encouraging. Homeless individuals with addictions and criminal histories can work! Of the 319 men and women enrolled into this program, 227 were successfully assisted in finding competitive employment across 12 different business sectors. These results occurred in the worst economy on record since the Great Depression. (authors)
